I recall my first All Hallows Eve party with great fondness. It was at the great Capps Mansion, long before anyone knew of the trouble there. I wore a mischevious bird mask with a humorous feathered beak, a sequined vest and white tights. I don't think you were there.
i just read your bio. we had similar childhoods. but i am older than you and when the divine miss M record came out, i bought it was one of my fav albums way way back then. but instead of working at McD's, I joined the coast guard. I spent 25 years in cold boston and then moved to Los angeles, so I can relate to your shock from sj to chicago. Ugh (double ugh) socal is the best place on earth. xo
